This works flawlessly!
No complaint about it whatsoever.
It only weighs a pound and is incredibly strong.
It comes with a wrench so that you can flip the top nut if you want to mount it directly to your camera (which I did) or mount a head to it.
Plus, the price is great for carbon fiber!
You won't be able to find any other product, just as good, at this price.

This Manopod is totally great. It's strong and lightweight which I trust mounting my EOS camera with no hesitation. A little pricey, but well worth it.
