Not as good as I hoped December 25, 2008 I read all the reviews of this battery and there seemed to be a distinct difference of opinions. Most people seemed to think it worked as well as the Panasonic battery that came with their camera and others disagreed. I hoped those who said it was equivalent were correct, but my own experience is that it just doesn't last like the original. So I have to join with those who got less than equal effectiveness.
Good Relative Value December 15, 2008 When I purchased this battery the price was under ten dollars. I see it is now about 50% higher but still much less expensive than the Panasonic battery. I didn't review this one right away because I had to wait for the charge to wear off on the Panasonic battery that came with my camera. I waited and waited.. finally the battery went low so I replaced it with this Lenmar. The Lenmar didn't last as long as the Panasonic - probably about 70-75% as long, which to me was great considering it was a lot cheaper than the Panasonic. I didn't notice any difference in performance, only in the length of the time the battery lasted. Since I am not a heavy duty picture taker, this plus the original Panasonic batteries are plenty for me. Even at the current price it is a good deal.
Very good battery December 3, 2008 I used one for a few days, it was very good. I'm so sorry that I lost it while visiting the Bird's Nest. I have ordered another one for my coming trip to Mexico.
Operates camera December 2, 2008 Upon recieving this Lenmar battery, I inserted it into the Panasonic DMC-TZ3 charger and it readily charged with no problem. (Some reviews I read indicated a problem with this Lenmar battery fitting into the charger which I did not encounter.) I then put it in the camera and it has functioned as well as the original equipment. I have not used the camera enough to determine if there is any significant difference in usage time between it and the original Panasonic battery, but it is certainly a bargain price.
LENMAR DLP007 BATTERY IS GARBAGE November 26, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
THIS BATTERY IS GOOD FOR APPROXIMATELY 10 SHOTS BEFORE IT MUST BE RECHARGED, WHILE THE ORIGINAL PANASONIC BATTERY IS GOOD FOR 100 TO 200 SHOTS AND VIDEOS BEFORE NEEDING A RECHARGE.
