I bought these for my Sony DVD0305. Slide the mini DVD in, watch the screen display "Sony Disc Recommended" and away I record. I've experienced no problems. In fact, that "Sony Disc Recommended" message is the only difference I've noted--EXCEPT FOR THE PRICE!! These are way cheaper than buying the Sony discs in the store. Prior to discovering these discs I would definitely say the price of a Sony disc did curtail my recording.
