Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Excellent substitute for Nikon's original battery   May 9, 2008
This Energizer ER-D320 works flawlessly with my D70--charged up well, last at least as long as the Nikon original EN-EL3, if not a bit longer. Note that this battery has 3 terminal contacts instead of two, which was what the picture showed. It still works with my D70, and should work with the newer D200 which requires a 3-terminal battery. However, I don't have a D200 to try this out, so I cannot be sure.

5 out of 5 stars Energized Bunny Battery   December 30, 2007
Works like a charm in My Nikon D50. Just as good as OEM and not as expensive.

4 out of 5 stars Seems to work fine, good value   January 8, 2007

I was a little bit nervous of what would come in the mail, I kept expecting a generic white box that said "Energiser", but it appears to be a real Energizer product (even if it's made by someone else). So far, behaves much like the Nikon battery that came with my D50.

4 out of 5 stars Good clone battery but not made by Energizer   December 16, 2004

This Nikon EN-EL3 clone battery has the same specs as the "genuine" Nikon EN-EL3 battery (for D100, D70 and others). Even though it bears the Energizer brand, this is made by an OEM called Technuity which is a licensee of the Energizer brand. The issue is I don't know if Energizer stands behind the quality of this battery, and you are really using it at your own risk. It does get hot after extended use, but so does Nikon's own EN-EL3 (which is likely manufactured by an OEM anyway). This clone does come with a 3-year warranty, but no "equipment warranty," so if it should explode or melt in your Nikon camera, they are not responsible for it.

Tip: after charging completes, do not leave the battery charged for more than another hour. Also don't use the camera for a long period of time (my definition is more than 30 minutes non-stop).
